Elijah Bristow First Day Horse Ride - Jan. 1, 2020

Join fellow equestrians for a unique view of Elijah Bristow State Park in winter. There is no set route, but new to the park riders can group up with local riders or get tips for almost any length of ride. Trails are flat with views of ponds, rivers, streams and all the wildlife that live there. Hikers are welcome as well. Rangers will be onsite to answer questions and there will be hot chocolate and snacks.

Meet At: Equestrian Parking Area

Trail Name: Various trails including Heron, Elk, and River trails

Trail Terrain: Easy

Length of Hike: 5 miles

Recommended minimum age: 1 year old

Things to Note: Anyone who is riding must bring their own horse, mule, llama etc. Dogs permitted on 6-foot leash. Dress for cold weather. Bring water for you and your horse, and snacks.
