Elijah Bristow First Day Horse Ride - Jan. 1, 2019

Join Ranger Rye Guessford on a winter ride through Elijah Bristow State Park. The leaves are off the trees and the views are better! Meet up with new riders or old friends and enjoy your local state park! All are welcome, but foot hikers should be comfortable near horses. If you are hiking, the ranger can recommend routes based on current conditions.

Meet At: Equestrian Parking Area

Trail Name: Various trails as the rider/hiker prefers, or as water levels allow.

Trail Terrain: Easy

Length of Hike: 4 miles

Minimum Age for Children: None

Things to Note: Anyone who is riding must bring their own horse, mule, etc. Dogs on leash only. Dress for cold weather! Bring water for you and your horse, and snacks.
