Join a Park Ranger and learn about the basics of Disc Golf! L.L. Stub Stewart State Park offers three different Disc Golf courses that tarverse through beautiful forested landscapes. This event is targeted at beginners who are curious to get into the sport and will cover the basics of rules, proper form, and learning what the different numbers mean on discs. Discs will be provided to borrow for the day onsite, but you can also bring your own set if you want.

Meets at the Hilltop Day Use Area at 11am

Pets are welcome to join but must be on a leash no longer than six feet. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This event will involve walking approximately 1 mile including a combination of packed trails and forest undergrowth. The terrain is uneven and may include moderate elevation gain. Sturdy hiking shoes or boots are advised, as trail conditions may vary depending on weather.  Oregon State Parks is committed to making our events accessible to everyone.
