The kayak tours are designed for beginning kayakers and kayakers of all skill levels. The entire tour takes about 4 hours which include review of skills and technique, safety orientation and kayaking on calm water in Eel Lake, located at William Tugman State Park. We provide recreational kayaks, paddles and life jackets.
Eel Lake is a large, deep lake formed by a series of geological events and is located south of Reedsport, adjacent to the William Tugman State Park. The kayak tour will take you along the shoreline of the lake where you'll see a the diversity of flora and fauna in the area.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water or snacks. Gloves can help with paddling but are not necessary.
