Join a Ranger for a guided hike in the beautiful eastern side of the Columbia River Gorge. Walk along the Historic Columbia River Highway Trail and learn about the formation of the Columbia Gorge, the history of the Columbia River Highway, see amazing vistas and learn about some of the plants and animals of the area. Hike through the amazing architectural marvel of the Twin Tunnels in their original design.
Meet At: Mosier Twin Tunnels Parking Lot. Driving directions: from Interstate 84 either westbound or eastbound, take exit 69 towards the town of Mosier. From the exit, continue into town approximately 1/4 mile and take the first left turn onto Rock Creek Road (just before the Mosier Community School). Follow Rock Creek Road approximately 3/4 of a mile to the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail parking on the left. We will have signs to help guide traffic from Interstate 84 both westbound and eastbound.
