Discover secrets and fun facts about Wolf Creek Inn this summer! Each program in the series reveals a part of the Inn's history through fun hands-on learning activities. These classes are for ages 6-12; parents are welcome to stay but not required. There is no fee for the classes. Each class requires a separate registration, see options below.
Weather or Not! (June) For past Inn owner, John Dugall, predicting the weather was a lot like predicting the future. Come learn about weather forecasting, how the Inn played a role in the Rogue Valley's weather reporting, and make a fun craft.
Make Your Mark! (July) Cattle branding made it's mark on the Inn more than 130 years ago. This program will take a closer look at what cattle branding is and why it is important. There will be a chance for you to make your mark, too, at the end of class.
Ready, Set, Action! (August) Did you know that many glamorous movie stars once stayed at the Inn? Explore which stars found the Inn to be the perfect hide-out from a hectic Hollywood life. Class includes tour, activity, and craft project.
Timber! (September) The Inn has long been a play to stay for loggers of the Rogue Valley. Come find out who- or what- was Oregon's original lumberjack in this class. We will look at some of the special equipment loggers use and make a project together in class.
