Join us for a winter wonderland New Years day adventure on January 1st, 2024! Hike with our ranger’s as we stroll through the forest and along Spring Creek and Williamson River. Be prepared for cold weather and potentially snowy or icy trails. Dress warm! Sturdy hiking boots and traction devices highly recommended. If there is enough snow, bring snowshoes. Call the park at 541-783-2471 prior to Dec 29 for updates and details. Pets are welcome, and must be on a leash at all times (no longer than 6 feet in length). Bring water for the hike.
We will walk from the Cookhouse along the Spring Creek trail to the Williamson River trail, which is three miles round trip and relatively flat. At the halfway point, we will have a warm bonfire waiting for you with hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Time: 11am- 1pm
Meeting location: Collier Logging Museum, inside the Cookhouse
