LaPine State Park - First Day Hike

Join us for a ranger-led hike on the Cougar Woods Trail. Enjoy the scenery, fresh air, and an opportunity to start your year in the outdoors! This loop trail is 3 miles long, relatively flat, winds along the Deschutes River and through a pine forest. Be prepared for cold weather and potentially icy trails. Traction spikes for shoes recommended.

When: January 1st, 2023

Time: 10am – 12pm

Meeting location: Cougar Woods Trailhead (approx. ½ mile from park entrance)

What to bring: weather appropriate clothing, water, and snacks
