Join a park ranger for a guided presentation on the fascinating science behind animal fur. Learn how trapping and the fur trade shaped the history of North America, and test your animal identification knowledge with a fun quiz! Presentation takes place at the Champoeg State Heritage Area Visitor Center.

Pets are not permitted inside the Visitor Center. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Event is free, but all vehicles must display a valid Oregon State Parks parking pass or camping reservation.
