Buds and Bees Monther Day Hike

Cape Lookout State Park

Join a Park Ranger to explore what is blooming at Cape Lookout and the creatures that are pollinating the blooms. Visitors will take a short, less than half-mile, hike through the Cape Lookout Day Use area, seeing what plants are in bloom, and talk about the important role pollinators play in the life cycle of these plants. Part of the tour will be a stop at a pollinator garden that park staff and volunteers planted with native species last spring. A Day Use Fee is required at the Cape Lookout Day Use Parking Lot. Come prepared for the weather; fog and cool conditions can roll in anytime on the coast. The hike will be fairly flat, but the ground is uneven, so good footware with encouraged.
