Welcome the New Year with a ranger led First Day Hike at LaPine State Park! Starting from McGregor Memorial Overlook, we’ll follow the winding curves of the river, looking for signs of wildlife that call this park home.

Trail: Deschutes River Loop

• 85ft of elevation gain

Where to Meet: McGregor Memorial Viewpoint

When: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Other Notes: Please dress for the weather; bring warm layers, and warm hiking shoes or winter boots. Snowshoes may be needed depending on conditions.
