The Deschutes River Equestrian Trail is a 22-mile round trip former railbed trail, open sunrise to sunset. It’s limited to 10 horses per day, so advanced reservations are required. The trail starts at the Deschutes River State Recreation Area campground entrance parking lot, & ends at Harris Ranch. Join Oregon State Park Rangers and Oregon Equestrian Trails (OET) to help maintain the trails at Elijah Bristow State Park on March 8th from 10am – 1pm.
