Take to the skies and volunteer with us for the 25th Annual Eagle Watch! This family-friendly event focuses upon the many Oregon raptors which populate our area at this time of year. There's something for everyone to see and do. Assist visitors with spotting raptors in flight. Help kids learn as they engage in environmental education activities and nature crafts. Lead a guided nature hike along the rim of the canyon. Or just lend a hand to distribute scavenger hunt materials, make commemorative buttons, take photos, read stories to little ones, or keep the bonfire going.
There's a number of ways you can participate in 3 to 4 hour shifts on either or both Saturday and Sunday's agenda. After registration closes for this event, the volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule your specific volunteer shift activity and time.
Volunteers will work both inside tents and outside in what could be windy and inclement weather. There's a reason we say "Fly like an Eagle!" Layered clothing is highly recommended!
